When we started Happy Linen Company we created our Giving Back campaign, where we donate 25p from each product sold to support local community initiatives and charities further afield. This has always been very close to our hearts and is one of the many reasons we wanted to set up the business in the first place! With the goal to always be Serious About Happy.
2020 threw us all some serious curveballs, however, we’re fortunate to have been able to continue to raise funds for these causes. This is all down to your support, we couldn’t have done it without you! By shopping with us you’ve helped support some wonderful charities such as Evelyn’s Gifts, Seashell Trust and Booth Centre for the Homeless.
Looking forward
This year in 2021 from January 1st – 31st March, we are super proud to announce that we will be donating 50% of our Giving back proceeds to Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. (registered charity number: 1049274)
The amazing Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is the largest single-site children’s hospital in the UK, treating over 280,000 patients each year. The charity aims to raise funds to enhance the services provided and care given to the young patients who use the hospital.
The charity has three main areas of work: to provide state-of-the-art equipment for diagnosis and treatment, to support research projects to improve our understanding of childhood illnesses and to help to create an environment that’s more friendly and welcoming to our young patients and their families.
We couldn’t be more thrilled to be working with them, especially at a time when the NHS has helped us all so much this past year. The charity is doing such amazing things, caring for children and their families during tough times. We’re excited to play a small part in helping and raising funds to those who really need it.
